The main goal of this paper is to elaborate the main measures undertaken by the Macedonian Government in order to protect the real sector from the widely spread economic crisis. First of all we will make a short review on the historical background on the financial crisis, where it started and what its impact on the global economy was. After that a short analysis on the measures undertaken by the Macedonian Government will be presented together with some of the plans undertaken by the other countries in the region and in the USA. At the end we discuss on the recent global developments and the relevance to Macedonia. We end with conclusions and recommendations to the Macedonian government.A presentation on the same topic is available in English.
