"Godišnjak" of Bosnian Cultural Community "Preporod":On 2001 “Preporod“ started with publishing of annual journal named "Godišnjak" and continuing tradition of their predecessors gathered with the cultural societies “Gajret“ and “Narodna uzdanica“ that published their journals “Gajret“ as well “Gajret“ callendars and “Narodna uzdanica“. When Prof. Dr. Šaćir Filandra was appointed as “Preporod“ chairman, the editorial board of “Godišnjaka“ was founded having members as follows: Prof. Dr. Ismet Bušatlić, Prof. Dr. Lamija Hadžiosmanović, Prof. Dr. Enes Kujundžić, Prof. Dr. Šaćir Filandra, Amir Brka writer and Džafer Obradović, M.A. Prof. Dr. Esad Zgodić was appointed as the main editor. The concept of “Godišnjak“ is intrellectually well organized providing columns where social and political issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina are discussed, as well as spiritual texts, texts from Bosnian and Herzegovina's history, literature contributions, references from Bosnian culture, texts translated from other languages relating to our history and culture, comments critically on new books, documents and reports about “Preporod“ work. Marking of anniversaries of birth or death of our important writers, historians, professors and other important Bosniaks is strongly emphasized as well as keeping of memory of important deceased Bosniaks.

The Bosnian studies journal represents a platform for the intellectual debate about the key social, cultural and political issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The aim of the Journal is to explore, define, reconsider and present new and challenging research in or about Bosnia and Herzegovina in the area of social sciences and humanities to both academic and non-academic audience.
