„Comparative Law Review” („CLR”) is the journal published by the Faculty of Law and Administration at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Poland) since 1989 (with some intervals). The scope of „CLR” includes both private and public law, with particular focus on comparative studies. The Editors encourage authors to submit articles and shorter notes that are interdisciplinary in nature and/or analyse a legal problem from a comparative perspective. We particularly welcome proposals elaborating on how the comparative method is applied in domestic and international law-making and jurisprudence. Consequently, we invite original contributions on public international law and EU law. By the same token, we welcome papers dealing with all fields of domestic law, legal theory and philosophy, as well as history of law.

History and Politics

Historia i Polityka

Frequency: 4 issues / Country: Poland

The key objective of the quarterly "Historia i Polityka" (History and Politics) is to present the latest, original achievements of Polish and foreign scientists. Articles published in the magazine range from research reports to purely theoretical dissertations. These papers are an important voice in the discussion of representatives of the humanities and social sciences focused on the problems of history and politics in the 20th and 21st centuries. The journal publishes studies mainly in the field of political science, including: history of political thought, diplomacy, contemporary international relations and security studies.

The mission of the Editors of the periodical "Historia i Polityka" (History and Politics) is to promote research conducted by young, talented scholars and to establish and grow a circle of frequent collaborators from various (also foreign) academic centers, regularly writing for the magazine.

An equally important goal of the magazine is to develop and nurture collaborative relations with scientists from Eastern European countries: the Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. Publications by foreign authors in HiP offer an opportunity for broader scientific discourse and exchange of views. All these countries and Poland share a common history and culture. We are also connected by unique  - on a global scale - experiences of the CEE societies, which can serve as an important point of reference in research in politics, international relations and security.

"Historia i Polityka" (History and Politics) is a forum open to Polish and international researchers. We encourage authors to submit papers dedicated to innovative approaches and interdisciplinary research in political and historical processes.

Content of the magazine is made freely available on Open Access basis, which is one of the foundations of Open Science. It allows for free use of the published content, thus supporting the development of science and innovation.

All texts in "Historia i Polityka" (History and Politics) have a DOI digital ID.
