Acta Ludologica (ISSN 2585-8599) is a double-blind peer reviewed scientific journal published twice a year by the Faculty of Mass Media Communication UCM in Trnava, Slovakia. The journal publishes theoretical, research and professional studies associated with the theory of digital games and digital games industry, as well as related reviews and shorter scientific articles on the given sphere of interest. The contents are written exclusively in English; all of them (except reviews and short articles) are double-blind peer reviewed and considered by the Scientific Committee of the journal. The editors strictly respect the principles of academic ethics and thus they follow the journal’s Editorial Policy and citation rules shared by all academic journals published by the Faculty of Mass Media Communication

Communication Today

Communication Today is a scientific journal from the mass media and marketing communication field. It contains professional scientific reflections on the media, media competencies, discourse on the limits to reality, media thinking, new media, peculiarities of individual marketing types, psychology and sociology of marketing communication, the structure of media content, and marketing strategies and communication sciences. The professional public is offered an interdisciplinary, focused, targeted discussion in these pages. Communication Today is published twice a year and is a reviewed periodical. It mediates theoretical studies, theoretical and empirical studies, research results and their implementation into practice, as well as professional publication reviews. The journal is registered in the List of periodicals of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic under No. EV 3972/10, in the ISSN system: 1338-130X and indexed in the databases: Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, CEJSH, Cabell’s Directories, Index Copernicus, ProQuest and EBSCO. Currently, the journal is in the process of its inclusion into international databases Scopus and Thomson Reuters. The members of the journal editorial board are members of the European Communication Research and Education Association.
