Bringing post-conflict news from the Balkan region to general and expert audiences, the Balkan Reconstruction Report (BRR http://balkanreport.tol.cz) presents a finely balanced combination of local and international perspectives highlighting relevant developments and trends in the reconstruction and development of Southeastern Europe. Part of Transitions Online (TOL http://www.tol.cz) network of Internet publications, the BRR is a truly regional publication that serves as a new-media incubator for local media, developing “best practices” for the region's journalists and publishers via continual training programs and its editorial output. BAlcan Reconstruction Report merged with Transitions Online in 2004.
