Paginae Historiae
Paginae Historiae
The collection of Paginae historiae, published by the National Archives (then still the State Central Archive) since 1992, is an attempt to build on the glorious past of the professional journals of the predecessors of the current National Archives from the period of the First Republic, especially the Collection of the Archives of the Ministry of the Interior and the Reports of the Czech Land Archives. The collection consists of several sections. The first part contains studies focused on the history of administration, auxiliary historical sciences, archival science, as well as works from the field of Czech and world political, economic, social and cultural history using the sources of the National Archives or relating to its holdings, as well as studies that primarily they do not use the sources of the National Archives, but have a more general methodical and methodological scope. This part is also open for presenting editions of individual sources related to the holdings of the National Archives. The second part is devoted to the publication of the results of source searches on some more important topics and synthesizing review works. At the end, the reader will find information about current events in our archive, methodological contributions, reviews and annotations of publications published in the National Archives or with a significant share of National Archives staff.
