Judaica Bohemiae

Frequency: 1 issues / Country: Czech Republic

Published since 1965 by the Jewish Museum in Prague, Judaica Bohemiae focuses on Jewish history and culture in Bohemia, Moravia and the wider Central European area (the territory of the former Habsburg Monarchy). The texts are published in English and German. The inclusion of essays is decided by an editorial board comprising leading specialists in the field. Until 2006, the studies in the journal were assessed at regular meetings of the editorial board. An independent peer review procedure was introduced in 2007. Judaica Bohemiae is indexed and abstracted in the Arts and Humanities Citation Index, (Web of Science), Scopus and the European Reference Index for the Humanities and Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS). The Judaica Bohemiae journal has been published by the Jewish Museum in Prague (until 1994 the State Jewish Museum) since 1965. Originally a biannual journal, it came out annually in 1994–2008, and twice yearly in 2009–2022. In 2023 it will revert to an annual publication again.
