The Journal “Police” is a printed and digital edition of Faculty “Police” at the Academy of the Ministry of Interior with ISSN  2683-0957 (digital) and ISSN 1312-6679 (print), which has been in published since 1973. The publication is included in the National Reference List of Contemporary Bulgarian Scientific Publications.

The editorial policy follows half a century оf traditions in higher education and scientific research in the area of public order protection and combating crime, applying generally-established international standards, contributing to the promotion of research. The publication includes materials in Bulgarian and English, presenting original views, results of empirical research, theoretical analysis, conceptual views and good practices.

The journal accepts publications from all authors, regardless of their professional occupation, academic position, thus aiming to stimulate closer links between all stakeholders - researchers, practitioners or citizens dedicated to the topic.

The Journal “Police” publishes articles dealing with matters in combating crime and protection of public order, which can be correlated to the professional fields: "National Security", "Law", "Administration and Management", "Psychology", „Economics”.

The Annual Journal of the Academy of the Ministry of Interior is a scientific edition that is published regularly once a year. It includes the publication of scientific studies, announcements and reviews, approved for publication by the editorial board. The editors may make editorial changes that do not affect the content and the structure of the material.

The Annual Journal of the Academy of the Ministry of Interior is published in two versions: printed with ISSN 1312-6415 and digital with eISSN 2738-7828.

The publication is included in the National Reference List of Contemporary Bulgarian Scientific Publications, ID № 1208.

It is recommended that materials be sent by the beginning of October of the respective calendar year.

There is a requirement that the topics of the works cover areas of policing, fire safety and civil protection, training of specialists in the field of security, management and law, scientific research in the field of national and international security, combating crime and public order protection.
