"Human Rights" Journal (Drepturile omului) is the scientific publication of the Romanian Institute for Human Rights (RIHR), issued since December 1991. It publishes studies, research and articles in the field of human rights or which have an impact on fundamental rights and freedoms; articles presenting and interpreting national, regional or international regulations in the field of human rights; analyses of case-law of the European Court of Human Rights and the Court of Justice of the European Union. Aside from scientific research done by the Institute, the journal publishes studies, research or analyses done by experts and representatives of academia that tackle fundamental human rights issues, focusing on the relationship between rights and principles, rules and standards of international institutions and mechanisms, or various terminological, conceptual and methodological aspects from this field of research.
