This book plays two roles: to suggest the possibility of re-reading military thinking - especially the Romanian one - after applying the ideological markers on the dominant schools of thinking, but especially after applying the markers for pointing out Clausewitzianism. These markers paint ideological "-isms" in different colours: Clausewitzianism, Anticlausewitzianism, Neoclausewitzianism and enable the interpretation of the radiography of military thinking outside ideological debris.

The second edition of the Romanian Military Thinking Conference, entitled “Military Strategy Coordinates under the Circumstances of a Synergistic Approach to Resilience in the Security Field”, proposes a topical issue: defence, approached synergistically and intelligently, increases efficiency in our noble mission, that of serving national interests. It is important for the actors involved to reach a common understanding of the concept of resilience, addressed in a double key, as it is specified in the National Defence Strategy for the period 2020-2024. From an organisational point of view, the conference had an academic component, focused on the presentation and publication of scientific articles, and a debate-based component, focused on a practical perspective. Both components of the conference were covered by three sections: Intelligence and Security, Military Theory and Art, Defence Resources Management.

The first edition of the Romanian Military Thinking International Conference Proceedings gathers about 80 scientific papers submitted for publication under a generous topic – Security and Defence between History, Theory and Public Policies. The articles, divided into four categories, namely: Intelligence and Security, Military Theory and Art, Defence Resources Management and Military History, all serve the main purpose of the Conference: the debate on the issue of national security and defence, in the context of the latest developments of the regional and global security environment.
