“Linguistische Treffen in Wrocław“ (ISSN: 2084-3062, e-ISSN: 2657-5647, DOI: 10.23817/lingtref) is an international journal publishing solely original scientific papers characterized by a broad spectrum of subjects and linguistic research. The objective of the journal is to create a platform for the exchange of views for researchers from all over the world interested in broadly understood linguistics (see the research areas). The journal also wants to facilitate the integration of researchers representing broadly understood linguistics and to promote research results as well as achievements within this discipline. The journal publishes scientific papers discussing the latest theoretical ideas and the results of the latest empirical linguistic research which could encourage scientists to conduct further studies contributing to the development of theoretical linguistic theories and linguistics itself.
“Linguistische Treffen in Wrocław“ publishes solely original scientific papers with top quality ideas, theoretical discussions and empirical studies. The papers are written in German, English and Polish.
The scope of papers published in “Linguistische Treffen in Wrocław“ is broadly understood linguistics, however, interdisciplinary papers are welcome as well. We also accept reviews and reports of scientific events.
The editorial board of “Linguistische Treffen in Wrocław“ exercises the utmost care to ensure the adherence to the ethical rules when publishing the received papers and to limit inappropriate practices when quoting.

Contributions to General and Comparative Linguistics

Beiträge zur allgemeinen und vergleichenden Sprachwissenschaft

Frequency: 1 issues / Country: Poland

The journal Beiträge zur allgemeinen und vergleichenden Sprachwissenschaft has appeared under this name since 2012. It started to use a bilingual name Beiträge zur allgemeinen und vergleichenden Sprachwissenschaft / Contributions to General and Comparative Linguistics in 2020. It is a continuation of an earlier multi-thematic, multi-volume series Beihefte zum Orbis Linguarum (published since 2006). The journal is published under the auspices of the Faculty of Letters, University of Wrocław in Poland. It is issued by Oficyna Wydawnicza ATUT (Wrocław) and Neisse Verlag Silvia und Detlef Krell GbR (Dresden). The editorial team consists of Edyta Błachut and Adam Gołębiowski (Institute of German Studies, University of Wrocław) and Dorota Klimek-Jankowska and Krzysztof Migdalski (Institute of English Studies, University of Wrocław). The journal is published annually.

The journal publishes articles that address issues broadly related to general and comparative linguistics. We intend the journal to be a place for the exchange of ideas between scholars from Poland, Europe, and the rest of the world. We invite original submissions written in German or English that make a novel contribution to the debate in empirical and theoretical linguistics. The editors may occasionally decide to invite articles related to a specific topic.

The submissions are reviewed by internationally recognized Polish and foreign researchers.
