
Journal of Archaeological and Numismatics Research

The Journal of Archaeological and Numismatics Research (in Romanian, Revista de Cercetări Arheologice și Numismatice), initiated by the Bucharest Municipality Museum, is a space of scientific debate that can be attended by specialists in archeology, numismatics, medals, heraldry, sigilography, faleristics, gliptics and metrology and is open to a wide range of approaches, methods and perspectives, for studies that make use of field research and theoretical ones. We offer the possibility to publish in the RCAN studies, articles, research reports, discussions, notes and reviews of recent scientific literature, in Romanian or in another international language (English, French, German), the chronological framework stretching from the Paleolithic to the 20th century. In addition to the type of contributions mentioned, the journal also proposes to host articles of synthesis or detailed studies on various categories of artifacts.
