Studia Universitatis Babeş-Bolyai Musica is the musicology magazine of the Faculty of Reformed Theology, Department of Music Pedagogy. The review was initiated by its redactor-in-chief, Lecturer Professor Gabriela Coca, in the first semester of the year 2007 – 2008.

This magazine came into being in order to fill in the area that was left open in Studia Universitatis Babeş-Bolyai. By this, it contributes to the growing reputation of the University of Cluj.

This type of national musicological periodical magazine that is published in widely spoken international languages is a new initiative on a national plan.
