Short Description

Zeszyty Prasoznawcze (Media Research Issues) is the oldest Polish academic journal devoted to social, psychological, political, linguistic, legal, economic, technological, organizational and professional aspects of mass communication, and in particular of the printed press, radio, television and other media, journalism, advertising, propaganda and public opinion, in the past and, in Poland and abroad. It publishes dissertations, articles, studies, surveys, reviews, documents and reports. Zeszyty Prasoznawcze (Media Research Issues) is a peer reviewed journal, published by the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Faculty of Management and Social Communication, Press Research Centre. As continuation of the journal Prasa Współczesna i Dawna (Contemporary and Old-time Press) (1957-1959), it serves for 55 years not only the Polish media, social communication, and public opinion researchers, lecturers and students of journalism, journalists, editors, publishers and PR specialists.
