Short Description

SYNERGY is a Journal of the Department of Modern Languages and Business Communication, Faculty of International Business and Economics, the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. It invites theoretical or practical contributions from anyone who is involved in foreign language education and research and in various related disciplines; from anyone who, in addition to their distinct professional and academic concerns, share a fundamental commitment to human communication and to the enlightenment of the mind. Articles on these topics are welcome: languages for specific purposes, language teaching methodology, linguistics, pragmatics, cultural and literary studies, wider educational projects and programmes and their implications for the learners' professional or vocational development. The journal aims to be a vehicle for stimulating and disseminating innovative ideas, and helping to increase and diversify scientific research, by acting as a medium for informed and lively discussion among members of the academic profession in Romania and abroad.
