Short Description
Economy and Sociology is a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary scientific journal published by the National Institute for Economic Research of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. The journal provides a platform for the dissemination of original theoretical and empirical research in economics, sociology, demography, public administration, social policy, and related fields of the social sciences.
The journal aims to advance scholarly dialogue on contemporary socio-economic transformations, sustainable development, social inclusion, labor markets, migration, demographic dynamics, regional development, innovation, and public governance. Particular attention is devoted to the socio-economic processes characterizing Central and Eastern Europe and post-transition societies, while also promoting comparative and internationally oriented research perspectives.
