The journal ARS is an art historical scientific peer-reviewed journal that has been published by the Institute of Art History of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava since 1967. It is devoted to the history of visual arts and architecture in Central Europe and their European context from the early Middle Ages to the present.
