Short Description
The half-monthly magazine Helikon was first issued in 1990, as Utunk’s successor, persuing the rich cultural tradition of magazines in Cluj-Napoca. Its founding editor is István Szilágyi. According to its self-definition, Helikon is a literary magazine, but it also gives a free range to other arts – theatre, movies, fine arts, music – and to treatiser genres and criticism as well. From the very beginning, the embracement of young talented entrants regards is one of its most important missions.
