Summary/Abstract: Czech-U.S. relations have been intensifying this year, reflected by the first visit in eight years by a Czech prime minister to the White House. The strengthening of relations stems from mutual interests in security, countering China in cyberspace, and plans for the modernisation of the Czech military. That has created an opportunity for all the Visegrad states to strengthen transatlantic relations under the current Czech presidency of the V4.
