Summary/Abstract: Serbia’s media scene is merely a reflection of society’s loss of bearings and moral devasta¬tion. This is especially so because, like all oth¬er national institutions, the media gave full support to the national projects embodied by Slobodan Milošević at the end of the twenti¬eth century. Above all, the media’s weakness is seen in its attitude to the past, which is similar or identical to that of most political players, as well as in its attitude to the transformation of society in the wake of radical nationalism.
