Summary/Abstract: Violence on the streets across Serbia has escalated in the last two weeks. At first, the SNS supporters started attacking the citizens, and then the police took over the baton and continued with the physical confrontation with the demonstrators. Pyrotechnic devices, stones, tear gas, guns, armored vehicles, police brutality, threats of sexual violence, arrests, all of this was recorded in just one week, which makes the observed period the most intense in the last 9 months of student and citizen protests. This week, in addition to the regular bi-weekly report Three Freedoms under Magnifying Glass, we also bring you a Three Freedoms Special in which the escalation of repression and violence to which citizens are exposed is described. This report serves to document the brutal violence that we are witnessing, which is carried out under the direction of the authorities against protesting citizens.
