Summary/Abstract: Serbs and Albanians are the two most numerous ethnic groups in the Western Balkans. The history of bad relations between these two nations and a number of unresolved issues aggravate the bilateral relations. Kosovo is obviously the most contentious issue on the agenda. Yet, the stability in southeast Europe and the European perspective of the whole region would benefit significantly from improved relations between Serbia and Albania.
