Summary/Abstract: Even after armed conflicts in former Yugoslavia drew to a close at the turn of the century, they still cast a long shadow over Serbia and regional relations. A quarter-century peace order and the process of EUropeanisation provide answers to some of the questions regarding the past conflicts and the complex mutual relations. Deeper issues, such as the views on the genesis of the war, war aims, responsibility, guilt, and modes of future cooperation are being dealt with on the fly and we are not near the point of consensual opinions on these issues.
