Summary/Abstract: As the two-year anniversary of the beginning of the Russian Federation's military aggression against the Republic of Ukraine, which was also marked by the Solidarity March in Belgrade,1 is coming to an end, the question of the responsibility of Serbian citizens who leave to take part in the war in Ukraine remains almost unchanged. When we say unchanged, we mean first of all the fact that it is still obvious that the response of the competent authorities is still inadequate, and that it is still not possible to establish with certainty the real number of Serbian citizens who have decided or plan to take part in the armed conflict. According to some estimates, by the end of 2023, the total number of Serbian fighters should reach a figure of 500, which cannot be considered negligible and, without any doubt, transfers the responsibility to the Serbian authorities to stand in the way of this phenomenon.
