Summary/Abstract: This document represents a contribution to the process of applying the concept of interculturality in the educational system of Serbia. During the preparation of this document, the Education Development Strategy of the Republic of Serbia until 2030 was analyzed, as well as the Action Plan for the implementation of the strategy for the period from 2021-2023. The mentioned documents include the concept of interculturality, but research indicates that there is a need for continuous improvement of intercultural pedagogy in order to develop intercultural values and competences of young people through education.
