Summary/Abstract: In Serbia, on June 2, 2024, repeated local elections will be held for the capital Belgrade, that is, local elections in 14 cities and 74 municipalities. After the parliamentary elections held on December 24, 2023, Serbia got a new Vladus in Prime Minister Miloš Vučević (SNS). In the past parliamentary elections, the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) won a convincing victory. Report of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), published only two and a half months after the elections. The Report states that "several important issues remain that relate to ensuring equal conditions, measures to prevent abuse of functions and state resources, separation of official functions and campaign activities, and effective mechanisms to prevent intimidation and pressure on voters, such as vote buying".
