Summary/Abstract: In the last fifty years, finance has become more than ever before a powerful instrument of influence and negotiation between countries. The increase in the power of transnational entities and their weight in today's world have led to the emergence of new elements that go beyond state dimensions. In addition to the emergence of so-called "economic killers", the consequences of which are visible in various countries of the world, from South America to Europe, it has become a mechanism through which political pressure can be exerted on the state or regime through economic sanctions.
