Summary/Abstract: The CURE Foundation (CURE) is a feminist-activist organisation committed to gender equality and positive social change through educational, artistic and cultural, and research-based programmes. By organising affirmative actions, CURE celebrates the strength and power of women and works to empower individuals to become drivers of positive social transformation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond. Feminist activism has enabled the creation of a safe space where women are strong, fearless, capable, and united in all their diversity. CURE is an organisation that blends professionalism with activism – its team members take to the streets in public protest against violence, discrimination, breaches of the law, and fundamental human rights violations. They organise performances against all forms of violence and call on artists, scholars, educators, activists, and citizens to act and contribute personally to building a better and healthier Bosnian and Herzegovinian society.
