Summary/Abstract: Early parliamentary, provincial and local elections that were held in Belgrade and 64 other cities and municipalities on 17 December 2023 were announced despite the fact that not a single problem related to campaign financing had been resolved. It was especially the organisation “Transparency Serbia”, a member of the prEUgovor coalition, that highlighted the problems in the domestic public, but other non-governmental organisations that monitor the election process (CESID, CRTA) referred to them as well. In its annual reports and the reports on conducted control, the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption also pointed out some of the shortcomings contained in the Law on the Financing of Political Activities. So did political parties, albeit much less frequently.
