Summary/Abstract: Bearing in mind that the reform of public administration (PRJ) is recognized as one of the three pillars of the enlargement of the European Union (EU), and yes, and no there are legal acquis for this area and, therefore, not in particular negotiating chapter, the European Commission (EC) had to devise a new mechanism for monitoring the progress of candidate countries in this area. Therefore, EC and SIGMA developed the Principles in 2014 public administrations that include six areas1. Within the document the key elements of good management are presented, ie requirements that states should fulfill in order to one day were successful EU member states. Accordingly, SIGMA 2015 carried out a detailed analysis of public administration in all countries candidates and potential candidates for EU membership.
