Summary/Abstract: The International Visegrad Fund (IVF) is a key institution witha mission to promote the Visegrád Group cooperation, as wellas civil society and neighbourly relations in Central Europe. This policy paper identifies two possible scenarios for theFund’s effective delivery of its mission. Both scenarios assessthe coherence between the IVF’s financial capacities and itsobjectives/activities. In the negative scenario, the financialcapacities and the number of objectives would remain unchangeddespite the challenge of inflation, thereby undermining theFund’s mission. In the positive scenario, the financial capacitieswould be increased to accommodate inflation, while the numberof objectives would be pragmatically fine-tuned. This approachwould enhance the coherence and effectiveness of the Fund’smission, enabling it to address the most pressing issues of the V4cooperation and Central European developments.
