Summary/Abstract: At its meeting on 27 April 2015, the government approved a new strategic document for European policy. The Policy Concept of the Czech Republic in the EU: An Active and Understandable Czech Republic in a United Europe is based on the government's program statement and replaces the document adopted by the Nečas Cabinet in spring 2013. While the previous concept consisted of extracts from framework positions without a clearer strategic anchoring, identification of priorities or implementation settings, the text adopted by the Sobotka Cabinet largely eliminates these shortcomings.
