Summary/Abstract: Although the territory along the borders of Poland and the Czech Republic is characterized by a similar level of economic development and cultural and linguistic proximity, there are still numerous limitations that hinder the agreement between the two neighbors. The problem is not only obstacles in the field of infrastructure, but also different mentalities or interpretations of historical events. Experts from the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM) and the Association for International Affairs (AMO), who analyzed the most important opportunities and challenges associated with cross-border dialogue, suggest that the determination of central and local authorities to engage in overcoming barriers between countries may be greater than it has been so far.
