Summary/Abstract: This policy paper suggests a partial change and extending of the existing EU‘s strategy against terrorism and violent radicalisation which support this phenomenon. The emphasis is put on the media and cyberspace which are being systematically exploited by the terrorist entities. The most important space where the JI attracts people is the cyberspace and media. Therefore, I suggest a strategy called War of Ideas which is focused predominantly on fighting JI in cyberspace and media inside the EU as well as beyond its borders. War of Ideas is an information-security strategy which aim is to weaken jihadist ideology by disproving its claims and by preventing its spreading in media and cyberspace. European minorities (e.g. Muslims) should also actively participate in implementing this strategy.
