Summary/Abstract: Serbia will chair the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) from January 1 to December 31, 2015. Rather, Serbia will take over the role of chairman from Switzerland, with whom it jointly submitted a candidacy for two consecutive presidencies in Vilnius in 2011 (so far, the countries have applied independently). The Republic of Serbia is currently part of the so-called "troika", which includes the former chairman Ukraine and the current chairman Switzerland.
