Summary/Abstract: In addition to the threats to the health of the population, the Covid-19 crisis brings new challenges at the macroeconomic level. Uncertainty is present even in the short term and haunts the global economy, and Moldova is no exception. Public institutions, companies and households are all affected by the slowdown in economic activity. The vast majority of sectors are already facing a drastic decrease in sales and income due to the impossibility of carrying out their usual activity. In addition, certain actors such as credit holders, tenants, emigrants returning home or workers in the informal economy do not have social protection in crisis situations.
