Summary/Abstract: In this study, we have described, from the perspective of the Republic of Moldova, the consequences of corrupt behavior in customs and the forms that corruption can take within the customs administration. We have also assessed the current situation in the Republic of Moldova regarding the risks of corruption in customs, proposed statistical methods for monitoring the risks of corruption in customs by civil society, and put forward public policy proposals to address the identified problems. At the same time, the findings of this study are also intended to inform the investigative press about possible topics and methods for a more in-depth analysis of the risks of corruption in customs.
