Summary/Abstract: The Poverty Reduction Strategy (Strategija za smanjenje siromaštva (SSS) in Serbia is a medium-term development framework aimed at reducing key forms of poverty. SSS is a national document that contains an analysis of the causes, characteristics and profile of poverty in Serbia, as well as the main strategic guidelines for social development and reducing the number of poor people in the coming years. The activities envisaged by the Poverty Reduction Strategy are aimed at economic development and growth, preventing the emergence of new poverty due to the restructuring of the economy, and taking care of traditionally poor groups.
