Summary/Abstract: Since its withdrawal from the INF Treaty, the U.S. has been working on several types of ground-launched conventional missiles. The future scope of this work could be, however, limited by political changes in the U.S. after the November elections or defence budget cuts. The U.S. decisions will be important for further NATO discussions about the military and political response to the expansion of the Russian missile arsenal.
