Summary/Abstract: In this paper, aspects were analyzed regarding the tactical research activity of the home or on the body of a person, known as search. The purpose is to present, from a procedural point of view, how to carry out this activity, the importance of carrying it out, the types of search regulated by the Romanian Criminal Procedure Code, as well as aspects regarding the psychology of the search.
