Summary/Abstract: The paper is an examination of the life of residents of block housing estates as a closed, not always friendly community. The author attempts to find the sources of negative perceptions of neighbourly life using the concept of “long-term residency” and the theory of strong and poor images as well as images of the weak. A visual example analysed in the paper is the web documentary series "Klatka B" [Staircarse B] breaking the common patterns of well-known comedy series such as "Świat Według Kiepskich" [The World Accoring to the Kiepski Family].
