This is how the migration spread to the world geographically. In this context, it can be said that migration has existed since the beginning of human history and is an integral part of societies. Migrations one of the effective factors in the demographic structure, culture, economy and politics of societies in every period of history; because of this versatility, it has become a phenomenon which studied by different scientific disciplines. International human movements are changing the economic, social, political and cultural structure of sending and receiving countries. Migrations, which have affected and still affect all societies, have emerged in different ways depending on various reasons, such as forced migration, voluntary migration, seasonal migration, internal migration, international migration or illegal migration.1 This study aims to describe the conceptual framework of migration related literature. As a part of the ‘Refugee Crisis in International Policy’, it is needed to explain the main and mostly accepted definitions of migration literature. Thus, the book project can be more comprehensive with a conceptual framework.
