Summary/Abstract: This paper reviews the Bulgarian legislative framework regarding the public procurement. Author highlights the changes which shall be implemented through the recently proposed Public Procurement Act in 2011. Those changes address recommendations by the European Commission in terms of systematic vulnerabilities and deficiencies in the public procurement process in the country.
