Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to present the concept of industrial policy, the reasons for resurrected interest in it in recent years, its theoretical justification and the principles of successful industrial policy. It is argued that the resolution of Bulgaria’s economy specific problems requires the adoption of active industrial policy.
