Summary/Abstract: In the paper are examined the dynamics of the production, the consumption and the export/import turnover of wine in Bulgaria in the years after its accession to the EU. On the basis of the statistical data for the respective period are marked out the development tendencies of the wine-producing sector. Competitiveness analysis is made, using different assessment indicators and taking into account the factors, which influence the competitiveness potential of the Bulgarian wine industry.
