Summary/Abstract: The history and implementation of the Regulations of the European Union called REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals) and CLP (Classification Labeling and Packaging) in the EC and some Balkan countries is discussed. Some advices for better harmonisation of the national legislations are given.
