Summary/Abstract: Economic environment for businesses in our country is more favourable than that in 1990-1994. Bulgaria is a member of the EU. Citizens of our country can move freely, work, associate, learn, invent, and use the same goods and services. Domestic products can be offered to more than 500 million people living in the EU. Businesses have free access to all markets. However, the laws in our country continue to be characterized by instability, with conflicting legislation, with an administration not applying the law. All this has a negative impact on the competitiveness of Bulgarian enterprises in international markets.
