Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to assess the participation and activity of the Polish members of the European Parliament. The authors stress that in the situation of over-regulation in the EU policies, the activities of the Polish MEPs are insufficient. They do not represent the interests of the Polish citizens and companies adequately. Furthermore, they are not active in the most important for the economy parliamentary committees and have no coherent strategy for participating in the legislative work. Moreover, there is no substantive support for the MEPs and the ability to build alliances and coalitions. Because of these weaknesses, the interests of Poland are not well and effectively represented in the European Parliament.
