Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to indicate the consequences contemporary parents face in connection with social changes. The first is tiredness, which both mothers, burdened with duties, and fathers, facing increasing challenges, complain about. The analysis of research results shows that the problem of tiredness is one of the main problems of modern parents. The paper emphasizes symptoms of long-term tiredness as accompanied by symptoms that worsen the quality of life and daily functioning of mothers and fathers, as well as their marital and family relationships. The second consequence indicated is the increase in the meaning of subjectively felt satisfaction in all areas of human life. This signifies that marriage and parenthood are widely perceived as a source of satisfaction and pleasure, which for many parents can mean disappointment resulting from the effort that must be put into their implementation. Thus, tiredness and the lack of expected satisfaction are nowadays serious threats to family stability.
