Summary/Abstract: The autism researcher Bruno Bettelheim claimed that all children’s psychic traumas and fears derive from feeling senselessness in their life. His thesis inspired the author of this article to study therapeutic tales of Maria Molicka (who pioneered this literary genre in Poland). This kind of tales names emotions, illustrates problems but also explains rules of the world, shows the meaning of life, death and suffer. Molicka’s texts might be considered in psychological as well as philosophic context. The following article concentrates on finding answers to important questions concerning human’s existence, philosophic inspirations in Molicka’s writing and importance of philosophy in child’s life and using it in the modern reality.
